About This Work

In **“Muddiman Black Swan,”** Tim distils the mythic charge of the black swan into a contemporary emblem—at once elegiac and defiant. Working with a disciplined, image-led approach, the artist balances graphic clarity with tactile nuance, allowing dark tonality and measured mark-making to build depth and psychological presence.

The composition’s restrained palette amplifies the work’s symbolic weight, where the swan becomes a conduit for themes of rarity, rupture, and resilience. Tim’s practice engages the visual language of modern figurative art while nodding to the black swan’s cultural resonance in literature and public discourse—an icon of the unforeseen and transformative.

The result is a compelling contemporary artwork with strong collector appeal.
